My Values in Action

01

Calm, stabilising presence under pressure

I am a calm, stabilising presence in high-pressure, high-stakes environments, creating space and forward momentum whilst always keeping focus on progress rather than politics.

Senior leaders are often operating under intense security, competing demands and a constant urgency, which can make it hard to stay out of reactive or defensive patterns.

After working with me...
Leaders:

step out of firefighting mode, think clearly despite the pressure and make confident, grounded decisions that are aligned to their strategic priorities.

Organisations:

keep a relentless focus on the delivery of strategic objectives despite a demanding environment, while improving morale and engagement.

02

Clarity in complexity; cutting through noise

I cut through noise and connect disparate dots, helping leaders make sense of complexity, see what really matters, and know where to act.

Organisations can become stuck repeating the same debates and decisions because of history, politics, or unclear past decisions - this looping wastes time, energy and momentum.

At the same time, leaders are often navigating competing priorities, heavy workloads and multiple reporting lines - making it hard to see what is actually driving or blocking progress.

After working with me...
Leaders:

understand what is really going on, articulate it clearly, align others, and focus their time and energy on what makes the biggest difference.

Organisations:

break out of inefficient cycles, reduce rework and repeated conflict and assure that organisation effort is focused on achieving strategic objectives.

03

Trusted, independent senior partner

I work as a trusted, independent partner to leaders and teams, bringing sound judgement, delivery focus and strong relational awareness into the room.

Leadership can feel lonely, particularly when the stakes are high and conversations are filtered by politics or hierarchy. Many leaders lack a truly safe space to think openly and test difficult ideas.

I provide independent, thoughtful leadership, focused on what will genuinely move things forward - I have no other agenda. Clients quickly invite me to the necessary tables - showing the trust they have in me as a partner.

After working with me...
Leaders:

think out loud, test difficult decisions, and act with greater confidence and clarity in a confidential and non-judgemental space. Clients often say they opened up more than expected as a result of this non-judgemental space we create together.

Organisations:

make better strategic choices, surface risks earlier, and reduce blind spots at the top.

04

Purpose-led, sustainable delivery

I help leaders deliver meaningful outcomes without losing sight of purpose, ensuring progress is sustainable and practical in real-word conditions.

With often multiple, urgent priorities, it's easy for organisations to fall into patterns of overwork and short-term fixes that aren't sustainable.

After working with me...
Leaders:

lead in a way that is effective, humane, and energising rather than exhausting.

Organisations:

deliver consistently, protect their reputation, retain good people, and avoid burnout-driven disruption.

05

People-centered digital leadership

I have a people-centered approach to digital leadership, ensuring changes are shaped and led with genuine considerations for those affected.

Many transformation programmes are driven by technology or policy rather than the real need of users and colleagues - which can limit adoption and weaken outcomes.

After working with me...
Leaders:

make confident, rounded decisions about digital change, informed by considering both systemic and human impact.

Organisations:

deliver services that work for people, build internal capability, and implement change that lands well.

Brief Bio

I’m a digital leader with 13+ years of experience at the forefront of digital, data and technology (DDaT) transformation. Most recently, I was Head of Delivery and part of the Senior Management Team at the NHS Business Services Authority.

In that role, I led and was accountable for the delivery of a portfolio of critical national health services used by millions of people across the UK. I also worked at an organisational level to support strategy development and growth, and coached senior leaders to drive meaningful, sustainable improvement.

Building on this experience, I’ve chosen to build an independent practice which partners with individuals and organisations to focus on the critical factors that make digital transformation succeed - working with a range of clients to deliver meaningful impact.

I’m passionate about equity and community. I volunteer as a career coach at Smart Works, supporting women to rebuild confidence and secure meaningful employment, and have recently completed a fixed term on Newcastle United Football Club’s Advisory Board, contributing to their diversity and inclusion ambitions.

As an International Coaching Federation (ICF) certified coach, I’m committed to professional standards and ongoing development.
